Cascading Style Sheets - CSS - allow you to separate your content from your presentation, this separation of content from presentation takes you to the gateway of accessible and portable website design. CSS also provides you with a global reference point from where you can control both your websites structure and its appearance, thereby drastically reducing maintenance time and allowing you to re-deploy that time to other areas of your business.

All material used in our courses is provided on CD; this provides a quick and easy reference point to put your newly gained knowledge into practice. The CDs not only provide reference material, they also contain comprehensive working examples of all the work covered throughout the course.
This course requires no CSS knowledge, and provides the underpinning knowledge for the Advanced course. It is here you will receive an introduction to CSS before moving on to discover how you can optimise your style sheets and feed different rules into different browsers to aid cross browser compatibility.
This course requires that you have completed the basic course or your knowledge is equal to that accrued in the basic course; the course will provide you with the knowledge to make the move to accessible CSS website design.
CSS is a technology that has been available for some time, though it is only recently that it has begun to be deployed for website structure. The reason for this is that many problems exist with older browsers; browsers such as Internet Explorer 5 and Internet Explorer 5.5, these browsers are still widely used and should be specifically catered for.
The debugging of CSS designs and the techniques required to prevent older browsers rendering your site in a manner that could be unusable is something we cover in great depth within the advanced course. Any course that does not cover such aspects of CSS design is, in our opinion, an incomplete course.
We find that in most cases our clients prefer Webade to visit their premises. This minimises costs for the client and maximises the number of candidates that can attend the courses.
We can provide classroom training facilities if required, please complete the contact form for further details if you would prefer to come to Webade for your training.
